Some customers are still without power in Northeastern Oklahoma, but utility crews hope to have electrical service restored by Monday night.

The next big challenge will be the wind.

"Winds will be in the 10- to 18-mph range which is going to be a problem because anything that is already weighed down or precariously hanging because of the weight of the ice, that could be what sets it to collapsing," WARN Team Meteorologist Mike Grogan said.

December Storm Coverage

Verdigris Valley Co-Op issued a statement Sunday morning saying the number of meters without electric service was down to about 1,600 - half of what it was Saturday. As of Monday at 9 a.m., that number was reduced to 10.

Temperatures are only expected to peak at 28 on Monday, so the ice is likely to stick around into the work week.

Here's the latest list of power outages. This does not include all electric providers:

Public Service of Oklahoma:

Tulsa County: 282 [9 a.m.]

Oklahoma Gas & Electric

Sapulpa: 95 [9 a.m.]
