On Monday News On 6 brought the story of Rosaletta Risby who had her power shut off due to a fire risk - a line hanging too close to her home.

Not only was Risby's power shut off, she was also informed she would have to hire an electrician herself, something Risby couldn't afford, as PSO's responsibility stops where the line meets the house.

"You don't call somebody out here to do work knowing you can't pay them. I cannot financially pay them, so I'm in a situation where financially I can't call a licensed person out here to do that. I don't have the money," Risby said.

That situation was avoided Tuesday thanks to a Tulsa Hills Baptist Church pastor who saw the story.

The pastor paid for All Power Electric Company to come out and work on Risby's home so she would have power for the holidays.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available. News on 6 viewers can also see reporter Tony Russell's report at 10.
