New Year's Eve Options In Oklahoma Include Olive Drop

Revelers at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Price Tower in Bartlesville will ring in 2014 with the lowering of a giant olive into a martini glass on New Years Eve.

The 19-story building at 510 South Dewey is home to the Inn at Price Tower and the Copper Bar in addition to an art museum.

Guest Services Associate Tina Davis Lovec says organizers selected an olive because it goes with the theme of the Copper Bar.

The olive drop is one of several options Oklahomans will have on Tuesday to celebrate the new year.

Other events include 5K runs, a sobriety powwow and a party hosted by Thunder forward Kevin Durant and Opening Night in downtown Oklahoma City.
