A Muskogee man is in the Washington County jail following his arrest in Washington County early New Years Day.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Rufus Killen, 42, told sheriff's deputies he had stolen a car he was driving from the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa and was on his way to Arkansas when he was involved in a crash at 2 a.m.
While talking with Killen, a sheriff's deputy stated Killen's eyes appeared bloodshot and watery and his speech was slurred.
Killen was booked into jail on complaints of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and DUI.
A judge set Killen's bond at $40,000. Court records show Killen next court appearance is set for February 7.
