Man Charged With Sexual Assault At North Tulsa Hotel Bound Over For Trial

Arrested in November for sexual assault, Dale Ray Richburg is now going to trial.

A Bristow man is going to trial after being arrested in November for sexually assaulting a woman and assaulting two people.

Dale Ray Richburg was arrested in November 2013, at the Rest Inn at 7475 East Admiral Place, when police received a call that a woman was sexually assaulted by a man who forced his way into her motel room.

According to police, Richburg then went to a Wendy's down the street of the motel, began kicking a vehicle and attacked the owner when confronted Richburg.

Richburg, originally booked on complaints of forcible oral sodomy, two counts of first degree burglary, two counts of assault and battery, and one count of malicious injury to property, and resisting arrest, is now facing additional charges.

One count of breaking and entering was dropped to a misdemeanor, but he now faces four additional counts: assault with a dangerous weapon, two additional counts of forcible sodomy, and unlawful possession of controlled drug, methamphetamine.

Richburg remains in custody until trial on a $233,500 bond.

His next court date is scheduled for January 13, 2013.
