Dozens Of Schools Still Closed In NE Oklahoma

Dozens of schools remain closed, especially in northeastern Oklahoma, as frigid temperatures continued across the state.

Garber Public Schools and See Worth Academy are both closed Tuesday, however, Oklahoma City Public schools are open.

Tuesday's predawn temperatures in the region remained below 10 degrees -- but the National Weather Service was predicting sunny skies and temperature approaching and into the 40s in the state.

Both Oklahoma Gas and Electric and Public Service Company of Oklahoma reported no power outages in their service areas.
