Eight puppies that were saved from a burning house in Cashion, Oklahoma, have found new homes.
A woman's rental home caught fire the morning of Sunday, January 5. She was only able to save herself, her grandmother's bible, and her boxer/lab mix puppies. Unfortunately, the woman could not keep the dogs.

Oklahoma City resident Jan Hinkle took in the puppies and reached out to News 9, asking us to help her find new homes for the dogs. She said no animal rescue places could take them because they were full, and she didn't want to take them to the pound.
Hinkle emailed us early Wednesday morning, and said she'd received an overwhelming response from people who wanted to adopt the dogs. She received more than 200 emails and said she was able to place the puppies with "wonderful animal lovers," and she felt "blessed watching the interaction between the puppies and their new owners as they chose each other."
