Oklahoma State has a huge clash with Kansas on Saturday at Allen Field House, but not even that was enough to allow the Cowboys to overlook TCU Wednesday night.

Marcus Smart scored 20 points to lead OSU to an 82-50 romp over TCU at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Smart began the game by nailing three 3-pointers to give the Cowboys a lead they would never give up.

The Cowboys had four players in double figures as Markel Brown chipped in 14 points and Le'Bryan Nash had 13 points. Brian Williams added 10 points. Nash, Smart, Brown and Kamari Murphy all had eight rebounds as well.

Karviar Shepherd scored 13 points and Amric Fields and Michael Williams each added 11 for the Horned Frogs.

Oklahoma State held TCU to 29 percent shooting while shooting 46.7 percent for the game themselves. The Cowboys shot 55.2 percent in the first half and made seven 3-pointers, and then held TCU to just 24 percent shooting in the second half to run away with the victory.

The Horned Frogs didn't go quietly in the first half. A Brandon Parrish layup cut the OSU lead to just five, at 20-15, halfway through the first half. However, the Cowboys responded with a 13-2 run to push the lead to 33-17, and TCU never got closer than 11 the rest of the way.

The only excitement in the second half came when Alex Budke came on and buried a 3-pointer to push the lead to 30. Budke is the son of the late OSU women's basketball coach Kurt Budke.
