TULSA, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested the driver of a Dodge pickup truck who struck two cars while going the wrong way on I-44 late Thursday.

Troopers said the pickup was traveling west in the eastbound lanes just before midnight and sideswiped two cars near the I-44 and Broken Arrow Expressway interchange.

Troopers said Patrick Meyer, 23, of Broken Arrow, eventually pulled over and stopped.

They say the occupants of the two cars were not injured.

Meyer was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving the wrong way.
