The first Hoops for Hope Festival is taking place at Cascia Hall this weekend, with four of the state's Catholic schools participating.

Bishop Kelley, Cascia Hall, Bishop McGuinness and Mount St. Mary are all participating in the tournament.

The tournament is set up as a way to serve the Catholic Charities organization in Tulsa. No admission is charged to the tournament, but fans are asked to bring an item that can be donated to Catholic Charities. Those items include nonperishable food; baby items such as diapers and formula; blankets, soap, laundry detergent; and kids clothing such as coats, hats, gloves and socks.
