It was a COLD morning with lots of low temperatures in the teens and lower 20s, but our coldest air hasn't arrived just yet.
Wednesday's highs will be a bit more mild, but with north winds at 10 to 20 mph, it will still feel chilly. However, as we transition into Thursday morning, actual lows will drop into the mid teens with wind chills in the single digits and even below zero in far northern Oklahoma.
Fifteen to 30 mph north winds will arrive early Thursday morning. Afternoon highs on Thursday are not expected to rise out of the 20s for most of Oklahoma and wind chills will stay in the teens all day long.
Fire danger will stay very high to extreme into the weekend with no significant precipitation showing up in the 9-day forecast.
