OSU library bells will toll ten times Monday, January 27 at 6:37 p.m. to mark the 13th anniversary of the plane crash that killed 10 members of the Cowboy family.

On January 27, 2001, ten members of the Oklahoma State University family died in a plane crash in Colorado including News 9 Sport Director, Bill Teegins.

The plane crashed about 20 miles south of Denver after taking off from Jefferson County Airport. The pilot and co-pilot also died.

Earlier on Monday, first responders in Colorado laid a wreath at the memorial near the site of the plane crash.

Oklahoma State University will pause to remember the 10 men killed in the crash in Colorado. At 6:37 p.m., the time of the crash 13 years ago, the bells of OSU's Edmon Low Library will toll 10 times to honor the memories of Kendall Durfey, Bjorn Fahlstrom, Nate Fleming, Will Hancock, Daniel Lawson, Brian Luninstra, Denver Mills, Pat Noyes, Bill Teegins and Jared Weiberg.

The campus memorial in Gallagher-Iba Arena will remain open all day.
