GRADY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Grady County authorities are looking for two men suspected of stealing thousands of dollars in steel pipe from a youth baseball organization.

Bridge Creek Little League near Blanchard planned to use $4,000 in donated steel stem pipe to build the entrance to a new baseball field.

Little League officials say two men driving a charcoal gray Ford F-250 pickup hauled most of that pipe away Monday afternoon. They returned Wednesday morning and tried to take the rest, but were confronted by an alert neighbor.

"My best guess is it's someone who is trying to make some money scrapping the metal," said Little League Board Member, Kent Sugg. "They just have to be black at heart."

Grady County Sheriff's officials say the Good Samaritan was able to take down a tag number to that truck, and they now know the identity of one of the two suspects. It's just going to be matter of finding them.
