Lake Hefner Parkway Ramp Reopened Following Fatality Accident

Crews have cleared a fatality accident along I-44 and Lake Hefner Parkway.

The single car accident happened just after 7 a.m. Thursday in the westbound ramp from I-44 to northbound Lake Hefner Parkway. Police confirm one person died in the accident.

The ramp was closed for nearly an hour during the morning commute while crews cleared the scene.

The ramp and Lake Hefner Parkway is now open.
