TULSA, Oklahoma -

The latest win in the rivalry between Tulsa Fire and Police goes to the firefighters. The two departments squared off in their annual bell ringing competition to see who could raise the most money for the Salvation Army.

For the third straight year, firefighters beat the officers, raising nearly $5,000, bringing their combined total to nearly $7,000.

Because they lost, officers had to deliver the trophy to the fire house with red lights blazing.

Officers think there might be some funny business going on, Corporal Scott Anderson said, "I think they're telling people stuff, like, ‘Cops write you tickets and arrest you, we're nice.' I think that's what they're doing."

To top things off, an anonymous donor gave an additional $5,000, so the Salvation Army received nearly $12,000.
