Light freezing drizzle and freezing fog causing slick spots on the roadways early this morning. Temperatures will climb up above freezing this afternoon and will help improve travel conditions. Highs today will reach the upper 30s and low 40s with a strong north wind. Look for mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers in eastern Oklahoma.

Tonight our first of three winter storms will arrive. Starting off as a wintry mix with light snow in the northwest. Sunday morning we'll see a transition to all snow as the storm progresses to the southeast. This will likely cause slick spots on the roadways for your Sunday morning commute. Heaviest snow and sleet will be limited to southern Oklahoma where 2 to 4 inches will be common for the areas in purple with localized higher amounts. Expecting up to an inch in the OKC metro.

By Sunday evening this system will be winding down and moving out of the state leaving us with dry conditions for your Monday, but travel is still expected to be tough south of I-40.

Our second stronger storm arrives Monday night into Tuesday with even more sleet and snow expected.
