A decade after police say a serial killer raped and murdered an Oklahoma teenager, her loved ones continue searching for other victims' families.

John Robert Williams, convicted killer connected to more than a dozen slayings, is behind bars.

Police said Williams targeted Seminole native Casey Jo Pipestem at an Oklahoma City truck stop. Later, her body was found roughly 200 miles south in Grapevine, Texas.

"We can overcome all of that evil with this good by coming together," Casey Jo's sister, Taffney Harjo, said.

Last summer, big rig trucker John Williams was formally charged with Casey Jo's death. He's currently serving a life sentence plus 20 years in Mississippi. He is connected to murders across the country, including as many as three murders in Oklahoma.

On Saturday, the families of victims Vicki Anderson and Casey Jo Pipestem held a memorial service at a church in the Seminole Nation.

"We wanted to bring other families in to let them know that you're not by yourself … that we're here fighting for justice too," Harjo said.

Harjo knows grieving together is much better than going it alone. She is also working to establish Amber Alert programs throughout tribal land.

"There could certainly be some other victims out there that this man was responsible for killing," Grapevine, Texas Police Lt. Larry Hallmark said.

Hallmark spent years working with OSBI agents on the case. He was finally able to see a charge against Williams nine years after Casey Jo's death. Harjo and others are still hoping for even more charges against Williams.
