NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Odyssey Sims scored 27 points, including three 3-pointers and eight free throws, as No. 7 Baylor beat Oklahoma 81-67 on Monday.

Nina Davis added 19 points and 14 rebounds for Baylor (19-3, 9-1 Big 12). The Lady Bears got 15 points from freshman Imani Wright and Sune Agbuke helped Baylor hold a 49-38 advantage on the glass, grabbing 14.

Morgan Hook scored 18 points for Oklahoma (14-9, 5-5) and Gioya Carter added 12. The Sooners outshot Baylor 42.9 percent to 39.7 but gave up 16 offensive rebounds and turned the ball over 17 times.

Sims was 8-of-24 shooting, while Davis made nine of her 11 attempts for Baylor. Davis leads the league in field goal percentage at .595 and she recorded her double-double in the first half with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Oklahoma kept the game close in the early going and managed to pull even on two occasions in the first half, but the Lady Bears never trailed in the game.

After Oklahoma had closed the gap to four at 27-23 with 6:51 left in the first half, Baylor went on a 16-1 run led by Sims, who didn't hit her first basket until the 12:12 mark of the first half. The senior guard scored consecutive baskets and a free throw in the middle of that run to help the Lady Bears to a 47-31 halftime lead.

In the second half, Oklahoma mounted a comeback behind the shooting of Hook, who scored 14 points after the break. Her 3-pointer with 11:03 left in the game cut Baylor's lead to 57-50, but that was as close as the Sooners could come the rest of the way.

Oklahoma scoring leader Aaryn Ellenberg spent most of the night in foul trouble. She failed to hit a shot from the field in the first half and got her only basket of the game in the opening minute of the second half. Ellenberg picked up three fouls before halftime and got number four with 16:35 to play. She fouled out with just four points -- 15 below her average -- in only 13 minutes of playing time.
