The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and City of Tulsa say their crews are prepared as another winter storm moves through northeast Oklahoma Tuesday.

We expect to see a few more flurries and freezing drizzle later this afternoon, according to WARN Team Meteorologist Mike Grogan. Tulsa experienced a "dry slot" that limited precipitation in the metro area.

There are still a few flurries and some freezing drizzle in the Bartlesville area. Bartlesville Police say they did not respond to any major wrecks.

EMSA and Tulsa Police responded to a number of injury and non-injury wrecks Tuesday morning.

A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect until 6 p.m.  The list includes Chautauqua County in Kansas and Nowata, Osage, Pawnee and Washington counties in Oklahoma.

The rest of southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m.  The list includes Montgomery County in Kansas and Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner counties.

Tulsa officials say street crews have been assigned 35 specific routes across the city. City of Tulsa maps of arterial streets

The City of Tulsa says refuse customers may experience a delay with refuse and recycling service Tuesday depending on weather and road conditions. They say curbside green waste will not be picked up Tuesday, as those crews are being used during winter weather response.

In addition, officials are asking owners of automatic lawn sprinkling systems to turn off timers and control systems to prevent run-off water into streets and sidewalks during freezing weather.
