Funeral and visitation services are scheduled to remember an Oklahoma City firefighter who was killed early Sunday morning in a vehicle accident.

Funeral and visitation services are scheduled to remember an Oklahoma City firefighter who was killed early Sunday morning in a vehicle accident.

Joshua Kidd, 31, was headed home to Moore following his shift Sunday morning when he lost control of his truck and rolled it off I-240 near Pennsylvania Avenue. He died at the scene.

Kidd battled Parkinson's disease and had recently received a series of successful procedures to help alleviate some of his symptoms. He had just returned to work following his latest procedure in January.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway Street in Moore between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 13 at the Westmoore Community Church located at 12609 S. Western Avenue in Oklahoma City.

A fund to assist Miles Kidd, Josh's 16-month-old son, is established at the Municipal Employees Credit Union (MECU.) Donations to assist Miles and his family can be made at any MECU location in the Metro.
