A Broken Arrow man was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a woman at her home. Josiah David Kesler, 19, was booked on a complaint of second degree rape.

Broken Arrow Police say the victim told them Kesler is a longtime friend, and they had been in her bedroom sorting clothes. The woman said she thought Kesler had left her house when he returned and sexually assaulted her. She said she was so shocked and scared she could not scream for help.

"The victim further advised that the suspect is a black belt in martial arts and carries multiple knives on his person at all times," the arresting officer said in his report.

Officers say the victim showed them a text from Kesler stating he "raped" her. She was taken to the hospital for a sexual assault exam on Friday.

Police say they went to Kesler's house and talked to him in front of his parents. He cooperated with the investigation, according the arrest report.
