OSAGE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Keystone Lake area was the site of more than one wild fire Tuesday. Fire blacked countryside near Prue, in Osage County.

Osage SkyNews 6 captured footage of the long fire line, with smoke filling the afternoon sky. We spotted a firefighter and cowboy watching the flames move through a wooded area.

No homes were threatened.

It was a different story in Cleveland on Tuesday.

Crews near Keystone Lake spent hours fighting a grass fire. There were issues with water supply as the flames crept close to a number of homes, and firefighters believe someone may have intentionally set the fire.

The plume of heavy smoke rose over the town of Cleveland, Tuesday afternoon as a grass fire grew at a quick pace. While some of the area is rural, the flames and smoke came dangerously close to Kevin Hurlebsch's house.

"Had neighbor come by, knocked on the door, woke me up. Said big fire back there," Hurlebsch said.

Water supply was an issue as a number of trucks from area departments sped to the scene to help how they could.

Across from Hurlebsch, another house was in danger as a small fire gained momentum in just seconds; so he grabbed his water hose immediately.

"Just trying to keep it wet so the wind doesn't flare it back up," said Hurlebsch.

For Stacey Lamkin, it was the not knowing that kept her on edge. She heard about the fire during her school bus route.

"We were coming here and I live down this way and they were blocking this and said they were just trying to keep it from our house," said Lamkin.

Another neighbor, Theresa Whaley, grabbed what she could from her home

Firefighters said they don't believe this was just a previous fire that flared up, and that perhaps they are being set, but that is not an official determination at this point.
