TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Tulsa teenager was shot in a carjacking Tuesday night, according to Tulsa Police.

Police were called to the 13500 block of East 4th at about 9:30 p.m.

Officers said the teen knocked on the door of a home seeking help after the incident. He told police two men had carjacked his 1993 white Chevrolet Caprice and shot him twice.

EMSA took the 18-year-old to the hospital. Police expect him to recover.

Tulsa Police are still looking for the car, but they do not have a good description of the two carjackers.

Officers say they are relying on calls to Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS for more information about the incident.
