Friday was moving day for the Broken Arrow Police Department. They are clearing out the old station on South First Place and moving into the digs near 6th and Kenosha Street.

The new station is about three times bigger. Officers say the expansion is necessary to keep up with the growth of the city.

They expect to be working out of the new Public Safety Complex by Monday; however, the communication dispatch center will not move until mid-March.
