Multiple fire departments are responding to a grass fire near East 51st Street South and South 273rd East Avenue.

Black smoke was pouring from the hilly Wagoner County location and could be seen for miles. Firefighters said the fire started near an outbuilding and then burned 10 acres. A home was nearly destroyed.

Tankers brought in water to crews on the front lines of the grass fire. They used a water shuttle system down a one lane road, one truck at a time.
