Woman Dies In Cleveland County Jail Cell

A woman being held in the Cleveland County Jail was found dead in her cell, early Sunday morning.

According to Moore Police Department, the female was arrested for outstanding warrants and brought in to the Cleveland County jail. The woman was evaluated by medical staff and jailed.

Police said around 4:30 a.m., staff found the female unresponsive in her cell by herself. The woman was transferred to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The woman has been identified as Rebekah Reed. The cause of death has not been determined.
