TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

In a new effort to keep Tulsa competitive by creating more job opportunities, the Tulsa Regional Chamber kicked off the Workforce Analysis Project on Monday.

Over the next 24-weeks, a consulting team will be figuring out what our area's workforce looks like now and what it might look like in the future.

The group already knows there's a shortage of skilled workers in Tulsa County. They want to make sure potential employees, at all skill levels, know about training opportunities.

Denise Reid, Director of Talent Strategies and Recruitment, said, "We are going to be a minority majority soon. So we really need to understand how we create equity and education for all of our citizens."

Neighborhood Meeting Invitation

The project kicks off with three neighborhood meetings on Tuesday at the following locations:

  •  North Tulsa
     Rudisill Library
     1520 North Hartford Avenue, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
  •  West Tulsa
