Oklahoma State's Tiffany Bias was one of 22 players named a watch list finalist for the 2014 Nancy Lieberman Award, it was announced Monday.

Named after Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman, the award recognizes the top point guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. The original watch list of candidates was narrowed down to the list of 22 by a nationally based committee.

Bias has led the Cowgirls to a 21-5 mark and a top-15 national ranking. The senior's 14.5 points per game currently rank seventh among Big 12 players and her 6.3 assists per contest are second. The Andover, Kan., native's 2.3 steals per game rank second among league players as well. She leads the conference in minutes played at36.2 per contest and has played all 40 minutes in 11 of OSU's 15 league games.

A premier Selection Committee made up of top college basketball personnel including Hall of Famers, media members, head coaches and sports information directors was appointed by the Hall of Fame to review the candidates. The list will be narrowed down to a final five by March and the winner will be announced during Final Four weekend activities.

Bias is seeking to become the second Cowgirl to win the award. Andrea Riley was named the winner in 2010.
