'All-Clear' Given After Suspicious Package Found On OU Campus

Police have given the "all-clear" after investigating a suspicious package found Friday morning on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman.

Police have given the "all-clear" after investigating a suspicious package found Friday morning on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman.

According to OU campus police, at about 9 a.m., a suspicious package was found on the west side of Stubbeman Village in the student residential area.

Students and residents were urged to avoid the area. Norman police's bomb squad also responded to the scene.

The package has been deemed safe. It was an abandoned briefcase.
