Habitat For Humanity To Purchase 30 Lots In Moore

Let the rebuild continue! Aid from all over has come to help set a new foundation for Moore. And on Friday, Habit for Humanity is changing one family's life, while setting blueprints for at least 30 more.

The Henderson's put it best by saying "we feel reborn." And that is exactly the plan in Moore.

"I feel like we've been given a second chance," said Louis Henderson.

A normal life is not necessarily a bad thing. For over nine months, Louis and Cindy Henderson's life has been anything but normal.

"It's been a whirlwind," said Cindy Henderson's.

Thanks to hundreds of volunteers and the Habitat for Humanity, the Henderson's now have a sink, a fridge and a Manhattan bedroom sized closet, all inside their brand new home, built on the same lot as their last one.

"We are so glad to be back here with our same neighbors," said the Henderson's.

The Henderson's aren't the only ones with new welcome mats. Habitat for Humanity is now on the market for lots like this, and about 29 more thanks to a $300,000 donation.

Express employment made the donation, along with a party-sized tool kit and their company sized services, all so families like the Henderson's can get back to normal.

"It's so great to be back here and watch the park grow," said Henderson.

The Henderson's will be able to start moving in right away and hope to be done in two weeks.
