An SUV trying to pass on a snow-covered bridge spun out and hit the center median during rush out traffic Monday in Tulsa. The vehicle was driving eastbound on Interstate 44 on the Arkansas River bridge when it apparently hit a slick spot and spun into the center median, coming to rest in the left lane.

As traffic slowed to make way around the disabled vehicle, a snow plow headed westbound on the bridge hit some deep snow and sent a rooster-tail of white powder over the SUV, emergency responders and eastbound traffic.

"Adding insult to injury," as Six in the Morning anchor LeAnne Taylor pointed out.

Osage SkyNews 6 was overhead and captured the scene. Pilot Will Kavanagh pointed out that the snow plow driver was just trying to do his job, but it made for some great video. If you're reading this on our mobile app, watch the video on the web-based site or check the app video category to watch.

No report on whether the SUV driver was injured.
