According to the arrest report, police observed Wilkins' 4-year-old son sitting in the front passenger seat without a car seat or a belt. When the officer asked him for his driver's license, Wilkins admitted to having a suspended license. Wilkins was asked to step out of the vehicle, and that is when police smelled alcohol on his breath. The officer asked how much he had to drink, and Wilkins replied, "Only what is missing from the bottle behind the seat." Police found a half-full bottle of vodka in Wilkins' 1983 Chevrolet El Camino.
Oklahoma City police said Wilkins failed a field sobriety test and now faces nine charges including DUI, Child Endangerment by DUI, Driving Under Suspension, Transporting Open Container, Child Restraint Violation, Seat Belt Violation and more.
The report stated Wilkins' breath alcohol concentration was 0.11. The child was released to a relative.
