The rising costs of tuition for higher learning can be a daunting hill to tackle for any High School student preparing to graduate. But the Tulsa Achieves program, now in its seventh year, helps Tulsa County High School students obtain an associate's degree from Tulsa Community College.

The program pays 100 percent of the tuition and fees.

TCC student, Kristin Stalcup said, I had no clue about TCC and the Tulsa Achieves program before my senior year. So it's really nice to come here and tell all these other students whose probably heard it once or twice and never gave it much thought that, ‘oh this could save me so much time,' or, ‘I can have a little wiggle room to figure out what it is I wanna do.'"

The Tulsa Achieves program is available to all high school graduates who live in Tulsa County with a 2.0 or higher grade point average.
