Longer Days, Warmer Rays: Spring Weather Arrives Early

Our lackluster winter storm is a memory, the clocks are forward one hour, our days are getting longer and it will FINALLY start feeling like spring for longer than a couple of days at a time.

Highs this afternoon across the state will rise into the mid and upper 50s and low to mid 60s with a north wind turning south at 5 to 15 mph. Highs over the next few days will bump into the 70s with even a few 80s possible in southern Oklahoma!

No big storm systems are showing up right now on the 9-day forecast. There may be a little rain mid week for northern Oklahoma with our first system, but amounts look very light. Fire danger and highs will be our biggest concern over the next week!
