A lot of you are sounding off after an elderly couple enjoying a meal at a Virginia McDonald's was asked to leave after 30 minutes, so workers could clean up when the place wasn't even crowded at the time.

"It's a fast food chain for cryin out loud, it's not like the majority of their business isn't done through the drive-thru..."
C-D said:
"Bless this sweet couple! I was raised to respect my elders and that should be a given especially for a place of business!"
Jade suggested:
"The employee blew a golden opportunity. They could have worked around the couple and observed them, then posted their story of "a sweet elderly couple on a date". It might have gone viral and the employee would have been a hero."
Jade you need to be in PR!
From Margaret:
"The ONLY way I could see this being even remotely okay would be if it was closing time. I am appalled that this happened!"
Bridget said:
"This is sad. The lack of respect for the elderly is disgusting!"
And Dawnell added:
"I hope the employee gets fired. That's awful."
Sharon wrote:
"People should never, EVER run/rush our elderly citizens from ANYWHERE."
Finally, from Cheyenne:
"If someone kicked my grandparents out of anywhere I'd knock the (crud) out of them and that's not even a joke. You respect the elderly that deserve it."
