OKLAHOMA CITY -

One of the victims in a four-vehicle collision is questioning the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for allowing a chase to continue into the busy Bricktown area.

Vicki Robbins and her granddaughter were near the intersection of Lincoln Blvd. and Sheridan Ave. Thursday when viewers saw a man in a pickup truck plow into them live on News 9. On Friday, troopers said the suspect was high on drugs at the time of the crash.

"My biggest worry was my granddaughter," Robbins said. "I wanted to make sure she was OK. I saw all this dirt on her, and then I just started crying."

A seatbelt left marks on Robbins' chest. She tells News 9 she is experiencing pain, but expects to recover. Robbins' granddaughter and dog were not injured.

Troopers say Monte Webb, 38, had drugs in his system as Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD followed him driving roughly 120 mph. Troopers were monitoring News 9's live aerial shots as Webb made his way into the Bricktown area Thursday.

"[OHP] should have terminated [the chase]," said Robbins. "They shouldn't have been down there in that area. I don't understand why they were there."

OHP is standing by its pursuit. The agency sent Webb to the Oklahoma County Jail Friday on six complaints, including felony eluding, DUI and reckless driving.

Robbins tells News 9 she has been in touch with a lawyer and is exploring her options. A total of three people were taken to a hospital for minor injuries. Medical professionals consider all three victims to be in good condition.
