Some beneficial rainfall headed our way today, Oklahoma!
The beginning of the rain is currently in southwest and central Oklahoma in the form of a few light showers. Coverage and intensity will increase as we head into the late morning and early afternoon. A few thunderstorms are possible across the state this afternoon.
While I think most everyone in the state will see rainfall, totals will stay highest in far eastern Oklahoma, where three to four inches locally are possible. However, you may pick up more should you see a thunderstorm or two.
A light winter mix is possible across central and northern Oklahoma tomorrow morning, as the system exits. Strong north winds will follow the front tomorrow, so a Wind Advisory is in place for all of western and central Oklahoma from 4 a.m. through 5 p.m. Sunday.
Next week looks great with highs in the 60s and 70s! Spring Break!
