The No. 30 University of Oklahoma baseball team had a five-game winning streak snapped in an 11-2 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock at L. Dale Mitchell Park, Wednesday evening. The Sooners fell to 16-6 overall, while the Trojans lifted their record to 10-8.

The OU offense totaled just five hits on the night as right-hander Chad Bradford (2-0) pitched 6.2 innings in the start for UALR. He allowed just two runs, one earned, on four hits and five walks to go with two strikeouts. The Trojans' bats produced 13 hits, scoring 11 runs, tied for the most given up by the Sooners this season.

Freshman right-hander Alec Hansen made his first career start. He struck out two in the first and two more in the second, but ran into trouble in the third. Hansen (0-1) pitched 2.1 innings and allowed five runs on three hits, two walks and a hit batter. UALR pushed across five runs in the third on just three hits and left the bases loaded.

The Trojans continued to pound out runs against the Oklahoma bullpen with two in the fifth and four in the sixth. Four players recorded a multi-hit day led by designated hitter Joseph Paulino who scored twice and drove in two runs on a 3-for-3 night with the team's only extra-base hit on a double. Third baseman Ben Crumpton drove in three runs and went 2-for-5.

Freshman right fielder Cody Thomas made his first career start for the Sooners and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Sophomore catcher Anthony Hermelyn went 1-for-3 to extend his season-best hitting streak to nine games.
