Two men who police say committed a brazen burglary at a Bridge Creek Little League field in January are now in the Grady County Jail.

Investigators say Newcastle Police caught 23-year-old Michael Ramsey and 20-year-old Shawn Mitchell committing a burglary Tuesday afternoon.

Grady County says these two men also stole tens of thousands of dollars' worth of steel pipe from a Bridge Creek Little League field under construction in late January.

Kent Sugg is a parent who volunteers with Bridge Creek Little League, and says he's glad someone has been caught.

"It's pipe, so it's not as important as some things," he said. "But to a small community like this it is important."

Sugg says he also is grateful Grady County Sheriff's Deputies have been following up in the case.
