Oklahoma City Police have released the 911 call made by a man arrested this week for impersonating a police officer.

In the call, David Roberts explained he is driving west on I-240 and is concerned about another driver.

"There's a Honda, older model green Honda, that ran another car off the road and has ran through lights. I think he's been drinking. I'm not positive," Roberts told the call taker.

Roberts was calling in reference to another driver. The other driver also called 911 to report Roberts flashed a badge, flashed his lights and tried to pull him over.

After Roberts explained his location and concern about the other vehicle, the dispatcher asked, "You're not trying to follow it, are you?"

Roberts said, "No, I 'm about four or five car lengths behind."

The call was less than two minutes long. Police said Roberts had in his truck other people's mail, IDs and checks believed to be taken during recent burglaries or counterfeit. Some of the checks belong to Alesha Heiliger, owner of a Yukon salon that was ransacked and burglarized this week.

Officers found items from at least seven people in Roberts' truck.

Roberts said he never impersonated a police officer and denied any burglary allegations. He said the items belong to friends, family members and his business investors.

Police are still processing evidence they recovered from Roberts' truck.
