Silver Alert Canceled, Carter County Man Found

Carter County authorities have canceled their Silver Alert after they safely located a missing man, Saturday evening.

The Carter County Sheriff's Office was searching for 88-year-old Jere Morrison, after he was last seen walking away from a home located at 7797 state highway 76 in Healdton, Okla. around 3 p.m.

Morrison was wearing a grey plaid shirt, a dark leather jacket, blue jeans and work boots. A photograph has not been released at this time.

Authorities say Morrison has Alzheimer's disease and may possibly on his way to Yukon. They say he is under proven medical or physical disability and is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

The sheriff's office did not say where exactly they found Morrison.
