Never thought I'd be sympathetic toward two animals on death row, but I am, somewhat, tonight.

Never thought I'd be sympathetic toward two animals on death row, but I am, somewhat, tonight.

These guys are despicable. Clayton Lockett tossed an 18-year-old Perry girl into a grave then shot her twice. And Charles Warner raped then murdered his girlfriend's 11-month-old daughter. These guys deserve to be put to death, and will be before long.

After two recent executions, one where the inmate gasped for minutes, and another in which the inmate said he was burning inside, the chemicals being used came into question.

The traditional lethal cocktail has been harder for states to get, and some states like Oklahoma are trying to protect the privacy of the companies that do provide the drugs.

Lockett and Warner point to those executions and say they have a right to know what drugs are going to kill them and where they come from. A judge agreed.

In 1990 I witnessed an execution, the man didn't deserve to live in my opinion, his life was taken from him, but his death appeared to me to be painless.

I don't want to pay for these two guys to live any longer, but neither do I want to execute them in an agonizing manner, recognizing full well they never gave that consideration to their young murder victims.
