MONTROSE, Colorado -

Recovery operations continue at the site of an airplane crash in a Colorado reservoir.

The FAA said the single-engine Socata TBM700 had stopped at Bartlesville's airport on its way to Montrose, Colorado when it crashed into the reservoir.

Authorities said divers worked to secure the plane's fuselage so it could be brought to shore Thursday.

They said the bodies of five victims are still in the plane, which took off Saturday morning from Gadsden, Alabama before crashing into Ridgeway reservoir.

Officials said winter weather and getting equipment to the scene has hampered recovery efforts.

Colorado authorities have not officially released the names of the five victims, but Alabama news media reported an Alabama businessman, his girlfriend and three children were aboard the airplane.
