Tulsa Police say the car that hit a young man on a bicycle Thursday afternoon was not one of theirs.

Emergency crews responded to the scene near 1170 North Main on Thursday afternoon.

Video from Osage SkyNews 6 showed a person on a stretcher being treated by paramedics, then loaded into an ambulance.

A witness, who refused to go on camera, told News On 6 she saw the young man riding across the street when an unmarked police car struck the bike. A Tulsa Police spokesman says the witness was mistaken and it was not a police car.

The witness also said the bicycle rider was a boy, but Tulsa Police say he's over 18.

Neither EMSA nor the Tulsa Police Department have released any information about the extent of the young man's injuries.
