CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Prayers were answered for an Oklahoma mother after investigators arrested a woman in a Green Country cold case that's stretched out over two decades.

Beverly Noe, 60, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Investigators say she killed to keep her grandson in her life. The boy, now an adult, still lives with Noe.

The secrets kept buried on a piece of Pawnee County property are coming to light, more than 20 years later.

"It's all in God's timing, I kept telling myself that every day, ‘Lord, please, please let today be the day we get answers,'" Taylor said.

The three disappeared while Camp, who was from Oklahoma City, was visiting her then 4-year-old son, Jonathan in Creek County. Camp's ex had custody, but the boy spent much of his time with his grandmother, Beverly Noe. But Camp wanted him back.

"[Beverly] wasn't about to give him back to her," Taylor said.

And the fear of losing her grandson is what, investigators say, pushed Noe and her late mother Ida Prewitt to stab and shoot the women while likely suffocating the little girl.

Noe told us she was innocent during an interview last year.

"It was not me, and if it were my mother, I don't know, she's dead," Noe said.

Noe's brother, Grover Prewitt, led investigators to the buried bodies in Pawnee County. He is charged with accessory after the fact.

Court documents show Grover admitted to helping bury the bodies. But he also helped investigators when he let detectives wire him to record his conversations with his sister 21 years later.

Jessica Brown with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, said, "There was means, motive and opportunity, and we believe Beverly fits every one of those."

A .357 revolver and two filet knives were also found in the grave.
