'Sleepy' Locust Grove Man Veers Off Highway 412, Strikes Tree, OHP Says

A Locust Grove man was hospitalized after he ran off U.S. Highway 412 and struck a tree on Friday morning.

According to the collision report, Rodney Garman, 41, was a tenth of a mile west of County Road NS423 in Rogers County when he veered off the roadway to the right.

The investigating trooper wrote in the report that the cause of the crash was because the driver was "apparently sleepy."

Garman was transported by EMS to a Tulsa hospital for observation with head, arm and leg injuries.
