Saturday will be another warm and windy day with highs in the mid to upper 80s for most of the state with highs in the mid and upper 90s in far western Oklahoma.

There will be a slight chance for isolated storms on Saturday afternoon in western Oklahoma along the dryline. If storms develop at all on Saturday, they will pose a threat for large damaging hail and damaging wind gusts.

Thunderstorm chances will be much higher on Sunday as our next mid-level storm approaches. There will be a slight chance of showers and storms in the early morning hours along central and southern Oklahoma, but rain is much more likely in the afternoon hours.

From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday the conditions will be favorable for a few strong to severe storms. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds, but there will be a low threat for isolated tornadoes.

The greatest chance for severe weather will be in the orange shaded region ahead of the dryline. Late in the afternoon a strong cold front will move through overtaking the dryline and diminishing the tornado threat.

After the cold front moves through your area, storms will pose a wind and hail threat. Along and east of I-35, heavy rain looks likely in the evening hours and some decent rain is possible. Rainfall totals will range from .1" in western Oklahoma to close to 1" in eastern Oklahoma.

Behind the cold front, temperatures will much colder for your Monday. There will even be a chance for accumulating snow in the Oklahoma panhandle.
