Several tornado watches issued by the National Weather Service have expired in Northeastern Oklahoma, but now the Sooner State needs to be ready for rapidly falling temperatures behind a cold front.

"Another piece of energy arrives Monday morning and creates widespread showers in the area," News On 6 meteorologist Mike Grogan said. "It will be cold enough just northwest of Eastern Oklahoma to produce a wintry mix."
