Police: Tulsa Woman Cut While Defending Herself From Boyfriend

Tulsa police say a woman accidentally cut herself in a domestic incident overnight. She showed up at a Tulsa hospital with lacerations early Sunday.

Tulsa Police Captain Steve Odom said it appears the woman and her boyfriend had been in an argument and he started beating her. She grabbed a knife and cut him on purpose and then herself by accident.

Odom said the boyfriend appeared to be the aggressor and was taken into custody.

He was not seriously wounded. Her condition was not known.
