Once living on the streets, Dante Anderson has worked hard during the past year in the City Rescue Mission's Bridges to Life Program. Now he is about to make a life-long dream come true with the help of people he has met along the way.

Anderson went through downtown Oklahoma City with one thing on his mind. The artist paused outside a one-story building.

"Yep, this is it."

It is the Individual Artists of Oklahoma gallery where Anderson plans to let people into his life.

"It kind of shows the history of everything."

This is Anderson's first art show. He is planning on bringing his journey to life through portraits of other people in his life, conveying his emotions through their eyes.

"I ask questions," Anderson explains. "Just to get a little background on what the person has been through or maybe pick up the positives."

The show is scheduled for Summer 2014.
